Whitney Dail was born in Alexandria, VA to a Naval aviator and an artist-entrepreneur, and was raised in Annapolis, MD. For five years, Whitney worked as a graphic designer in the comic book industry but returned to school in 2009 to pursue a better-suited Master's degree in Arts Administration. She is currently in the process of writing and researching her thesis on expanding art, science, and technology interactions in U.S. cultural institutions.

    I want to share my excitement for my job and the wonderful people that I have the pleasure of working with! The last few weeks have been so enjoyable and productive. We redid the jewelry cases—a perfect example of teamwork. Caryn and I assisted Kyle with these summer, woodland displays. Lots of hand-cut paper leaves and gatherings of bark and feathers. I love love love how everything turned out. One of the other jewelry cases has a “School’s Out for Summer” theme, which you can see here, here, here and here.
